Dear Presidents of Edmonton Area Clubs:
Re: EDSDA Executive Positions
Today the EDSDA held our annual General Meeting with 15 of the 30 in attendance
being current EDSDA executive members.
A number of positions are currently vacant as a result of long time serving
members retiring from active service. With the low turnout and lack of
individuals coming forward to serve we were unable to fill all of the
positions.
We are in need of individuals to step forward and bring new ideas and
enthusiasm to the table. The next couple of years are looking to be exciting
and challenging for our dancers. Please encourage everyone to give serious
thought as to how they can contribute.
Please encourage your members to volunteer or nominate those you feel have the
skills to assist us in moving ahead square dancing in the Edmonton area.
Names can be forwarded to myself, Ken Crighton or any current member of the
EDSDA executive.

MEMO to ALL Dancers
Please keep in mind that ALL of the E.D.S.D.A. Dances are
now being held at
West Edmonton Seniors Activity Centre
9629 - 176 St.
Edmonton
We ask that ALL dancers carry a pair of soft sole shoes to change to so that we
can protect the hardwood floor and keep dancing in this facility for many years
to come.
